The Tower

The release of a pair of white doves from the upper window of the tower would be a nice addition to any wedding ceremony.

Down the stone  pathway from the hall, at the edge of a native forest, stands our 30-foot, Celtic style tower. Artful masonry gives this structure the feel of a 15th century church with timeless European elegance.

Enjoy a private butler’s dinner on the second floor of our tower, for your first meal as Mr. and Mrs.! The release of a pair of white doves from the upper window of the tower would be a nice addition to any wedding ceremony.

This stone tower provides a unique picturesque backdrop to your wedding ceremony that can’t be found anywhere else in Houston!

A baby grand piano tucked away in the corner beckons all musicians for a classical refrain.

Entry through a large wooden door reveals a spacious foyer with dramatic rock walls and arches framing the main room. A baby grand piano tucked away in the corner beckons all musicians for a classical refrain. ADA compliant restrooms are equipped with two toilet stalls for both men and women and are located off the entry foyer. As you pass through the foyer into the main hall, natural granite counters top the solid wood custom cabinetry in the food and bar service areas.

The serving areas are separated from the food prep stations and a private service entrance. The hall itself will seat 220 guests for dinner with a dance floor. The prevalence of stone and beautiful antiques gives this facility an ambiance of timelessness.

An artistically designed Celtic style cross is etched into the concrete stained floor

An intimate rock alcove with windows facing the west makes a beautiful indoor ceremony site. Crosses inset within the rock walls adorn both ends of the hall, and an artistically designed Celtic style cross is etched into the concrete stained floor.

About

Welcome to Ambrosia Crossing! We are a family owned and operated business, whose inception comes from a lifelong enjoyment of travel and gardening. We then combined those things with a desire to glorify God through our work.

After learning about the purity of Celtic Christianity we planned a trip to Ireland to visit the land of saints and scholars in person. We were interested in the Celts’ commitment to family and community, and their appreciation for the beauty of nature.  The  watchtower on the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland, pictured above, was the inspiration for the tower at Ambrosia Crossing.

We want your guests to be delighted at every turn! Our aim is to make your experience one to be remembered for a lifetime.

Once we returned we began planning and designing what has become our tower. We had already begun construction on the renovations to the reception hall, converting from a horse barn into the structure you see today.

Our beautiful grounds landscaping has taken years to cultivate. When we sold our home in Katy, we lost the gardens that our family had been perfecting for years. We immediately began work on the grounds that have become the area around the venue. If you love gardens then you will definitely want to come and tour our facilities.
